Welcome to SALT Children's Home
This is a home for Tamil Nadu’s poorest and most destitute children. They arrive here with no adult support, this means that they have no parents or relatives to care for them. At SALT children get more than just the basics- food, clothing, and shelter. SALT goes much deeper than that, here they get the chance to act like children, to play and to laugh. This is their home.

SALT´s mission is to empower the children by providing the basic needs for each child and ensure their best interests through support and guidance.
Vision
SALT´s vision is to provide the children with an education, a safe environment,
and skills that would enable them to engage in society.
Goal
The ultimate goal of SALT is to build the capacity of the children in our Home by:
- Ensuring a structure and discipline that provides for a child’s needs;
- Offering a competitive education to ensure a bright future;
- Encouraging children to express themselves and gain self-confidence in a nurturing and safe environment through games, play, and interpersonal relationships;
- Promoting individual life-skills through vocational training and access to modern technology.
